Gamaralalage Noyel Wijayaratne and Bope Ralage Sarath Chandrawansa vs The University of Peradeniya et al. – CA WRIT/306/2013-2022

In the case between Gamaralalage Noyel Wijayaratne and Bope Ralage Sarath Chandrawansa (Petitioners) and the University of Peradeniya and various university officials including Prof. Athula Senaratne, Prof. Upul Disanayake, Prof. Navaratne Bandara, Prof. O. G. Dayarathne Banda, and Kanchuka N Dharmasiri (Respondents), the court addressed the lawfulness of the 7th Respondent’s appointment as Lecturer (Probationary) in the Department of Fine Arts.
