E.A.P. Films and Theaters (Pvt) Ltd. v. Hon. Mahinda Yapa Abeygunewardane – CA 590/2007-2015

In the case between E.A.P. Films and Theatres (Pvt) Ltd. and others (Petitioners) and Hon. Mahinda Yapa Abeygunewardane, Ministry of Cultural Affairs, and others (Respondents), the court addressed the issue of whether writs of certiorari and prohibition should be issued to quash or prohibit enforcement of regulations under the National Film Corporation of Sri Lanka Act, as published in specific gazettes (P14, P14A, P15, P15A).
