Ansareen Mohamed Thajoor vs. Hon. Mahinda Rajapaksa et al – CA WRIT APPLICATION NO. 428/2020-2020

In the case between Ansareen Mohamed Thajoor, carrying on business as Best Marketing (Petitioner), and Hon. Mahinda Rajapaksa (Prime Minister & Minister of Finance, Economy and Policy Development) and others (Respondents), the court addressed the issue of the propriety of issuing writs of Certiorari, Prohibition, and Mandamus regarding the actions and inactions of government officials related to imports, exports, and finance under Article 140 of the Constitution.
