R. L. Buddhika Yangani Henri vs. Francis Welege, Principal, Rahula College, Matara, et al. – SC F/R APPLICATION NO. 116/2021-2022

In the case between R. L. Buddhika Yangani Henri and Hewa Bettage Sadiv Sasmin (Petitioners) and officials of Rahula College, Matara (including the Principal, Deputy Vice Principal, Interview Board members, Appeals Board members, and related ministry officials) (Respondents), the court addressed the issue of whether the refusal to award marks for documents submitted and signed by the Deputy Principal was arbitrary when similar marks had been awarded for a comparable document.
